Sound installation with ten voices

A sound poem; ten voices, ten stories, ten people of different ages, sexes and backgrounds. The museum is located in what was once East Berlin. The mute birds, stored backstage, in vitrines at the Museum of Natural History Berlin’s bird room melts here with the voices of people working there. People that have worked in these rooms for a very long time. This developed into a polyphonic poem. The poem, performed by ten voices, contains the narration of the history of the museum and the collection in the bird room, which has survived two world wars and different political systems.
